Covid-19 testing ready at home, Save Gas' Protect The Planet.

While it’s encouraging to see COVID-19 restrictions lifting, we can’t completely let our guard down yet. In addition to staying up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations, including a booster shot, we recommend everyone get tested at the first sign of symptoms.

Here are some ways Kaiser Permanente members may be able to get COVID-19 home antigen tests at no cost and without a doctor’s order.
Federal government — Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order up to 8 free self-tests without shipping fees at covidtests.gov.
Kaiser Permanente pharmacies — If a member is already planning to visit a Kaiser Permanente location, they can pick up a self-test while they are there, as supply allows.
Retail pharmacies — We’ve added a convenient option for our members to pick up self-tests from participating retail pharmacies, including Walmart and others. Members will need to take the test to the pharmacy counter and show their photo ID and Kaiser Permanente ID card. Availability of tests may vary. Visit kp.org to see a list of participating retailers.
Kaiser Permanente web or mobile — Members can visit kp.org/covidtests or use the Kaiser Permanente mobile app to order a self-test delivered to their home.
If members do pay for an FDA-authorized test, they can submit a claim for reimbursement at kp.org. Select "Coverage & Costs," and then select "Submit a medical claim."

For the latest COVID-19 testing information, including home antigen test brands available at Kaiser Permanente locations, visit kp.org/covidtests. And encourage employees to schedule a booster shot today for the best protection against severe illness and hospitalization.

Visit kp.org/coronavirus for local updates. You can also call our 24/7 KP COVID InfoLine at 1‑855‑550‑0951 (available in English and Spanish) for regular recorded updates.
